Van Gogh Defeated? Check Out This Surprising “Top 10 Art for 2016” Infographic

Online art gallery overstockArt.com ends each year by announcing the top 10 oil paintings, according to their analysis of millions of customer data points. For several years, Vincent van Gogh’s “Café Terrace at Night” held the top spot – but no more. This year’s list features a more consolidated selection of world-famous artists, each managing to win spots for several artworks.

The previous #1 van Gogh has since fallen to #4 and his only other appearance on the list is “Starry Night”, barely making it in at #10. Tied with Vincent with two spots each are French impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Vienna Secession leader Gustav Klimt.
