Painted during Klimt’s Golden Period, it showcases his Symbolist style with bold colors and intricate patterns. The identity of the couple is never identified, but many speculate it was Klimt himself with his wife.
Pierre-Auguste Renoir-Discarded Roses
Discarded Roses is one of the most moving pieces from the later period in Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s career, after he became more introspective. Jean-Honore Fragonard-The Love Letter
The Love Letter was painted by French artist Jean-Honore Fragonard whose late Rococo design was distinguished by remarkable exuberance and a flourish for the decadent. Fragonard produced more than 550 paintings and his most popular works show an atmosphere of intimacy and hidden eroticism. The woman in this painting is clearly enjoying the excitement of writing to her love in private.
