The Luxury Line is a collection of fine hand painted pieces of art that includes a touch of metallic foil to accent the artist’s skill. It is carefully applied over the original paint, in specifically targeted areas to create additional depth and texture where it looks best. Our artists are careful not to let the shimmer of the foil overwhelm the beauty of the subject, but accentuate its finer details. Both silver and gold foils are used, depending on the tones and colors used in the piece. When combined with a coordinating frame, the metallic hues add elegance to any room.

One of the most famous painters to use gold foil in his works of art is Gustav Klimt. In pieces like The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch Baur I, he uses the shimmering foils to enhance the style of his paintings. We have replicated that with our finely detailed reproductions.
